A retired Electrical Engineer with significant experience in data recording system production as both a project manager and individual contributor. Experience includes: administration, calibration, ISO9000 and international exposure. Computer software experience includes: Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook Express, Internet Explorer, and Browser Programs.

EXPERIENCE

1997 > PRESENT
Employed at MSI-LLC (AQR-LLC) providing:

• Preparation of Quality Manuals including associated consultation services leading to the certification of small companies to ISO9001:2000, AS9100, ISO 17025, and FAR part 145. The company capabilities include: Machining, Optical support, Aerospace equipment, Medical Equipment, electrical circuitry, etc.

• Performance of Internal Audits at client facilities.

• Preparation of Internal Audit subject matter and implementation of training classes for employees of MSI-LLC (AQR-LLC) clients. These classes, including examinations, allow the attendees to become proficient Internal Auditors.

1959 > 1995
Employed at Pratt & Whitney Division of United Aircraft. Experience included:

• Contributions as an individual and as a project manager for Data Recording Systems incorporating:

a) both analog and digital techniques,
b) stationary and portable operation,
c) stand alone, and
d) centralized computer controlled recording. These projects required capital planning, design, manufacturing coordination, installation, maintenance, and documentation.

• Administrative supervision of 250 engineers providing measurement equipment used in the development of gas turbine aircraft engines. Supervisory tasks included office management, performance appraisals, salary recommendations, and college recruiting.

• Conceiving, proposing, initiating, and chairing a calibration process improvement committee spanning all divisions of United Technologies. The committee work resulted in advances in technology and cost saving through the sharing of procedures in various divisions of UTC.

• Creating and presenting Quality related workshops to train coworkers in methods for the analytical measurement of Quality in their assignments.

• Presenting ISO9000 requirements to corporate representatives.

• Coordinating instrumentation capabilities for a major international engine program.

• Becoming a Joint Patent holder for a measurement technique that allowed interchangeability of two engine models. This eliminated customer costs related to aircraft rewiring.
