Walter Sam O'Connor,

Is a seasoned Quality Assurance / Regulatory Affairs professional who holds certifications as a Quality Management Systems Lead Auditor for ISO 9001:2008, Aerospace Auditor for AS9100 and AS9120 through the personnel certification body RABQSA. He has extensive experience in managing programs and projects that inspect, audit and certify engineering, manufacturing and service operations within the following but not limited to aerospace, military, commercial aviation, medical, electronics, plastics and chemical industries. Throughout his career he has proven to be detail-oriented, client driven and motivated, with the ability to cultivate and maintain relationships across all levels of clientele.

During his 19 plus years Walter has worked for organizations such as TUV Rheinland of N.A., Inc. holding various positions from laboratory technician to International Operations Manager. FM APPROVALS as its Certifications Manager, and most recently TUV USA as its Certifications Manager. He has helped expand services and improve processes within each of his former employers organization. He has audited over 1000 companies in the course of his career to numerous standards and harmonized regulatory standards.

Walter holds a bachelor of science degree in Business Administration from Emmanuel College located in Boston, MA where he graduated at the top of his class with Magna Cum Laude honors. He is continually expanding his professional development by attending numerous industry forums and participating in work groups. As a result of his efforts MSI's clients benefit directly by receive first hand knowledge and real-time release of information that impacts their industry.

In his spare time Walter likes to, read, swim, snowshoe and spend time traveling with his family. He has recently taken up the seasonal hobby of growing a vegetable garden.
